Planet Z is an original rock musical, conceived and penned by award-winning writer and director Jon Tracy. Berkeley Playhouse has announced its new Rainbow Reception series for LGBT and non-traditional families and their allies, to be held on the first Sunday of each 2010-2011 professional season production, 90 minutes before the evening performance. Julia Morgan Center for the Arts/Berkeley Playhouse has been awarded a $5,500 grant to support its innovative TheatreReach program for Summer and Fall 2010. TheatreReach provides local schools and summer camps with interactive workshops and live theatre experiences.
