A street urchin falls in love with a princess but it’s going to take a magic genie to win her hand amongst all her rich suitors. Or will it? Anything can happen in Agrabah, City of Enchantment, in this buoyant retelling of the classic Arabian tale! This west coast premiere of Disney’s Aladdin features all the familiar characters from the best-selling animated movie classic, as well as the memorable Menken songs such as, “Arabian Nights”, “Friend like Me”, and “A Whole New World”. Cinderella, Enchanted

Everyone has a ball in this wildly whimsical musical adaptation of the ultimate storybook romance! PRIDE – A New Musical about Family

Award-winning director/playwright Jon Tracy teams up with composer, Scott deTurk to realize our first commissioned piece for the professional main stage. This all-ages musical is a coming-of-age story about love and family — in all their forms — in the shadow of Prop 8. The musical will premiere in April as the inaugural work of the Playhouse’s new works series, “Voices” a series that is intended to be joyous, illuminating and thought-provoking.

Seussical the Musical

He’s baaaaack! The Cat in the hat and Horton the Elephant return in this hip, effervescent reprise of the show that put Berkeley Playhouse on the map in 2007!
